What is covered in this lesson?

In this lesson, we will be introducing “Remainder Theory Concepts” and its various variations. Remainder Theory is an extension of the Part and Whole concept. Although some private learning centres use the branching method to solve such questions, we feel that these questions are best solved using the model method. The model method is easier for students to visualise. It is also consistent with what they learned in Primary 4 and how their schools will teach them.

  • Remainder Concept, Basic
  • Remainder Concept, Given value in part
  • Remainder Concept, Given value in difference
