The Primary Mathematics Syllabus aims to enable all students to:

• acquire mathematical concepts and skills for everyday use and continuous learning in mathematics;
• develop thinking, reasoning, communication, application and metacognitive skills through a mathematical approach to problem-solving; and
• build confidence and foster interest in mathematics

What is covered in this lesson?

In this lesson, we will cover two variations of “Comparison of quantities.”

Closely related to the “Comparison of Quantities” concept will be “Comparison of Units.” We will cover three variations of the “Comparison of units” concepts in this lesson.
